About Me

As an accomplished video editor and motion graphics artist, I quickly discovered my passion for bringing compelling visual stories to life. This drive led me to pursue formal training in visual effects for film and television at the esteemed Vancouver Institute of Media Arts (VanArts), where I deepened my understanding of cinematic storytelling through the lens of technology.

Over the past decade, I have honed my craft and gained invaluable experience working with some of the most acclaimed VFX studios in Hollywood, including Industrial Lights & Magic (ILM), Moving Picture Company (MPC), Image Engine, Digital Domain, Method Studios, Scanline VFX, and MARZ VFX. My expertise as a digital compositor, roto/paint artist, and de-aging specialist has contributed to the success of numerous blockbuster films such as Justice League, Game of Thrones, Black Panther, The Meg, Aquaman, Chappie, The Martian, and many more.

This profound understanding of visual effects naturally led me to a new frontier: film directing. I now craft narratives that are not only visually stunning but also deeply emotionally resonant. My unique approach integrates a director’s keen eye for performance and pacing with my extensive VFX background, allowing me to seamlessly weave spectacle into meaningful storytelling. From transforming ideas into vivid and compelling stories, to directing actors on set, and meticulously designing post-production sequences, my unwavering commitment is to create narratives that connect, inspire, and leave a lasting impact. I continually push the boundaries of both visual effects and filmmaking to deliver truly immersive experiences.
